Job Opportunity: Mainframe Security Specialist

We are seeking an experienced IBM Mainframe zOS, RACF and SIEM security professional to enhance our organization's security processes, practices and data analysis capabilities. This is a contract opportunity that offers flexibility around personal commitments.

To be successful in this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Requisite skill and experience as defined below,
  • Australian Permanent Resident Visa holder,
  • At least 5 years' relevant local working experience.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or a related field,
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working within a Mainframe zOS and RACF environment,
  • Highly desirable skills include SIEM (SAS or Splunk), programming/automation experience, ability to integrate quickly into a team environment, and excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
