Job Title:

A Commercial Legal Professional is required to provide high-level legal advice on complex procurement and contractual issues.

  • This role involves drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements related to State Purchase Contracts and public tenders.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for providing authoritative legal advice on commercial and ICT-related matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review and negotiate a range of commercial and ICT agreements.
  • Advise on privacy, data governance, cyber security, employment and intergovernmental agreement issues.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years post-admission experience in a non-contentious area of practice.
  • Ability to work independently on complex legal issues and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

The team provides legal advice on a wide spectrum of complex legal matters, and you will have the opportunity to work on sophisticated commercial matters with other government departments and external legal counsel.
