Job Title: Huet Supervisor
Synopsis:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Huet Supervisor to join our team at The ACE Training Centre in Bankstown. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for delivering operational requirements of the HUET Pool Facility.This includes course administration, maintenance, pool hire activities, staff training, and delivery/assessment of accredited/non-accredited training courses.The role will be based at The ACE Training Centre, working Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm, with some flexibility to meet operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling and Supervision: Schedule and supervise HUET staff to achieve safe outcomes.
  • Team Planning and Conduct: Plan and conduct Team Training Requirements as required by the Operations Manual and Safety Management System.
  • Mentorship: Mentor casual HUET team members through team ratings to maintain high staff engagement and low turnover.
  • Update Air Maestro SMS: Update the Air Maestro SMS with staff data and rostering.
  • On-Site Training and Diving Activities: Supervise on-site training and diving activities ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Equipment Checks: Conduct pre-operational and post-operational equipment checks.
  • Predictive Maintenance: Proactively monitor and conduct preventative maintenance.
  • Annual EBS Service Schedule: Assist with monitoring and delivering the annual EBS service schedule.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certification and Recency Requirements: Hold and maintain certification & recency requirements for Lead Instructor, Water Safety Officer, Safety Diver, Air Fill Station Operator, METS Rescue Hoist Operator, METS Rescue Swimmer.
  • Certificate IV Training and Assessment: Certificate IV Training and Assessment to deliver and assess accredited HUET & EBS training and non-accredited courses.
  • ADAS Occupational Diving Certification: ADAS occupational diving certification Part 1(R) or above.
