Energy Regulation Professional Opportunity

The role of Energy Regulation Professional involves providing technical expertise and support to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of essential services such as electricity, gas, and water.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking technical and regulatory analysis on utilities' submissions
  • Assisting in preparing utility compliance performance advice
  • Engaging with utilities to ensure legislative requirements are met through policy development and implementation

Required skills and qualifications include a degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field, along with functional knowledge related to one or more of the following: electricity supply systems, light rail DC traction systems, renewable energy systems, and battery storage systems.

A strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, including knowledge of electricity networks and installations, is also required.

Additionally, excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for adapting communication to various technical and non-technical audiences.
