Leadership Role in Energy Regulation

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) plays a crucial role in leading and delivering the day-to-day operational aspects of energy regulation. The CEO is responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction, including supporting the development of and execution of the Strategic Plan and Corporate Plan.

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to ensure the achievement of strategic objectives.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring activities are conducted within approved parameters and aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Lead and empower senior leadership teams, assigning responsibilities clearly, supervising performance and fostering high-performing, values-driven cultures.

The ideal candidate will have executive-level management experience and a proven track record of leadership within dynamic, complex, multifaceted public or private sector environments. They will also possess knowledge of electricity and gas markets, as well as the role, purpose, and objectives of energy regulation.
