Job Title: Football Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Football Director to lead our team in creating an environment that maximizes participation, enjoyment of competition, and program participant growth through the development and implementation of regulations, policies, procedures, and operational processes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering effective and efficient football competitions, club engagement, operations support, and administration of programs and activities to drive the growth and development of grassroots, community, and high-performance football.

Football Operations oversees all football activities within Western Australia across competitions, programming, talent development, coach education pathways, as well as playing a key role in the growth of football through engagement with government and non-government stakeholders.

  • To create a unified and inclusive football environment that promotes participation and enjoyment among all levels of players;">
  • To develop and implement strategic plans to increase football participation, improve player performance, and enhance the overall fan experience;">
  • To build strong relationships with government agencies, clubs, and other stakeholders to promote football development and growth;">
  • To oversee the management of football competitions, including scheduling, officiating, and facilities management;">
  • To provide leadership and guidance to staff, coaches, and volunteers to ensure the success of football programs and events.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in football management, preferably at a senior level, with experience in leading teams, developing strategies, and implementing policies. They should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

A strong understanding of football operations, including competition management, player development, and coaching education, is essential. The successful candidate will also have the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to drive football growth and development.
