Game Design Director Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled content designer to lead the narrative of an exciting new title. As a key member of our team, you will support the game vision as set by the Creative Director and bring your expertise to the forefront.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive content design guidelines and best practices.
  • Establish detailed goals for yourself and the team, driving creative direction.
  • Craft engaging social features that foster group play and socialization.
  • Plan and implement game content and events, ensuring a seamless player experience.
  • Inspire creativity across the design team and encourage collaboration.
  • Work with other leadership within Design to ensure designs meet AAA standards.
  • Provide and receive constructive critique in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • 8+ years experience shipping AAA projects as a Lead or Principal Designer, delivering rich narrative experiences in action-oriented gameplay.
  • Expertise in writing detailed design documentation for content and story.
  • Familiarity with game production content tools such as Unreal Engine, Frostbite, Unity, or proprietary software.
  • Able to self-assess risk, time, and scope.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, driving towards optimal outcomes.
  • Deep understanding of American Football, both the game and its fandom.
