Perth, Western Australia MVP Real Estate Full time $90,000 - $120,000 per year

MVP Real Estate is looking for an experienced, passionate, dynamic and self-motivated Business Development Manager to join our Property Management Team.

The BDM will play a pivotal role in the growth of the roll by utilising their own existing contacts, communicating with the company's existing clients and business partners, and proactively seeking new business opportunities to deliver growth.

BDM duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Prospecting for new rental business.
  • Appraising the prospective rental property and then preparing and delivering a persuasive presentation to promote our Property Management service to earn the business.
  • List new managements using REIWA documentation.
  • Arrange the advertising for new managements, manage prospective Tenant enquiries and conduct home opens and private inspections.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Property Management Legislation, the Residential Tenancies Act and knowledge of REIWA documentation.
  • Maintain a business relationship with existing clients.
  • Build new network and referral opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Sales Team to maximise referral opportunities.
  • Create, maintain and nurture a Property Management database of clients and property investors.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions and competitor offers.
  • In collaboration with our Marketing Manager, work on the creation of marketing collateral and social media posts.
  • Attend home opens where appropriate to meet prospective property investors.
  • Provide written rental appraisals for sales listings for Sales Reps.
  • Follow up sales home open visitor registers.
  • Will assist the Property Managers if/when needed.

About the successful BDM:

  • Current Property Manager Registration.
  • A current driver's license.
  • Current Police Clearance.
  • Experience in a Business Development role is preferable, but experience in Property Management and/or Sales at a minimum.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Will be committed to working proactively to grow the rent roll.
  • Has good time management skills.
  • Is willing to continue their learning journey by upskilling and implementing new ideas into the business.
  • Is professionally dressed and has excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possesses a positive, professional, can-do attitude.
  • Has the ability to work in a team environment but also independently.
  • Results driven with a focus on exceeding targets and goals.

The Directors are willing to consider other training when suggested. CPD points are paid for by the business (at the Director's discretion).

Commercial Real Estate:

MVP Real Estate has recently established MVP Commercial. There are opportunities to refer commercial and industrial leads to the Commercial department which will count towards KPI targets.

Being a results-based role, the BDM will be required to meet monthly KPIs. The Directors are willing to be flexible with the days in which you work your hours as well as conducive to allowing some work from home hours. Ultimately, it's the results that determine the viability of the position.

The salary will be negotiable depending upon experience and proven track record.
