Behaviour Support Practitioner

We are seeking a Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our Clinical Services team in Wagga Wagga on a permanent part-time basis, working 3 days a week.
Key Responsibilities- Design, deliver, monitor, and evaluate behaviour support services to families, children, young people, and adults with disabilities and therapeutic needs.
- Work effectively with a range of stakeholders, including participants, families, Local Area Coordinators, NDIS, the Office of the Public Guardian, and other government agencies and specialist support services.
- Utilise data collection tools, collate information, analyse, and prepare reports for relevant stakeholders.
- Apply therapeutic behavioural support strategies within the scope of our trauma-informed framework.
- Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, nursing, or other relevant clinical field.
- Current registration with AHPRA where required or eligibility for registration with the relevant state body.
- Eligible to provide Specialist Intervention Behaviour Support and a range of appropriate services under the NDIS.
- Demonstrated ability to work within clinical governance, quality improvement, and risk management frameworks.
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary team and applying theoretical frameworks to inform clinical practice.
