About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional who can provide specialist behaviour support services to National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants and their support teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and national/state legislation, including the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
  • Promote the reduction of Restrictive Practices across Kirinari and its customers
  • Develop positive relationships with stakeholders, including individuals, families, and government organisations
  • Develop, implement, and review Positive Behaviour Support Plans to enhance the quality of life for participants
  • Utilise data tools for behavioural analysis and functional assessments
Requirements
  • A relevant degree and/or demonstrated experience in supporting individuals with disability and complex needs
  • Current registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner or ability to obtain
  • Thorough understanding of policy and legislation relating to Behaviour Support and Restrictive Practices
  • Desire to learn and work as part of a transdisciplinary team
