About the Role

We are seeking a Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our Clinical Services team in Wagga Wagga on a permanent part-time basis, working 3 days a week.

As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will be a key member of a multidisciplinary clinical services team, responsible for designing, delivering, monitoring, and evaluating behaviour support services for families, children, young people, and adults with various disabilities and therapeutic needs.

The successful applicant will have a strong commitment to the safety of children, young people, and people with a disability, as well as a tertiary qualification in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, nursing, or a relevant clinical field.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Designing and delivering behaviour support services that meet the needs of participants and their families.
  2. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement behaviour support plans.
  3. Providing specialist intervention behaviour support and other relevant services under the NDIS.
  4. Utilising data collection tools to collate information, analyse, and prepare reports for stakeholders.
  5. Working effectively with a range of stakeholders, including participants, families, Local Area Coordinators, NDIS, the Office of the Public Guardian, and other government agencies and specialist support services.
