Salary Package

Job Description

This exciting opportunity is for a Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our Clinical Services team in Wagga Wagga on a permanent part-time basis (3 days per week). As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for designing, delivering, monitoring, and evaluating behaviour support services for families, children, young people, and adults with diverse disabilities and therapeutic needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. Demonstrate unwavering commitment to the safety and well-being of children, young people, and individuals with disabilities.
  2. Possess a tertiary qualification in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Nursing, or a relevant clinical field.
  3. Hold current registration with AHPRA where required or be eligible for registration with the relevant state body.
  4. Be eligible to provide Specialist Intervention Behaviour Support and related services under the NDIS framework.
  5. Proven ability to collect and analyse data, prepare reports, and utilise relevant tools and strategies.
  6. Familiarity with trauma-informed practices and their application within our organisation's framework.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
  8. Knowledge of positive behaviour support principles, including functional behaviour assessment, intervention, and service delivery practices.
  9. Awareness of strengths-based practice and person-centred approaches.
  10. Experience working within clinical governance, quality improvement, and risk management frameworks.
  11. Skill in critical reflection, theoretical framework application, and referencing research and literature to inform practice.
