About the Role

CareSouth is seeking a highly skilled Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our Clinical Services team in Wagga Wagga on a permanent part-time basis, working 3 days a week.

As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will be a key member of a multidisciplinary team, responsible for designing, delivering, monitoring, and evaluating behaviour support services to families, children, young people, and adults with disabilities and therapeutic needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a commitment to the safety and well-being of children, young people, and individuals with disabilities.
  • Utilise therapeutic behavioural support strategies within a trauma-informed framework.
  • Work effectively with stakeholders, including participants, families, Local Area Coordinators, NDIS, and government agencies.
  • Develop and implement behaviour support plans, incorporating positive behaviour support principles.
  • Collate and analyse data, preparing reports for relevant stakeholders.
