About this role

As a Production Engineer, you will be a valued technical advisor for the production team.

You will drive initiatives for operational excellence and assist the production team in day-to-day operations.

The role involves:

  • Designing drilling, blasting and production plans
  • Liaising with stakeholders to ensure drill and blast designs meet site requirements
  • Regular time-in-field to ensure safe and efficient drill and blast activities
  • Reviewing drilling, blasting and production plans as required

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Experience working in an underground, hard rock, metalliferous mine environment
  • Proven experience in drill and blast design in sub-level open stoping is preferred but not essential
  • Demonstrated ability to be motivated and self-directed to achieve project outcomes
