We are seeking a skilled professional to join our production team as a technical advisor.
This role is critical in driving initiatives that enable operational excellence and assist the production team in day-to-day operations.
You will play a pivotal role in finding sustainable solutions through problem-solving and identifying improvement opportunities through data analysis or in-field observations.
Responsibilities:- Designing drilling, blasting and production plans.
- Liaising with stakeholders to ensure drill and blast designs meet site requirements.
- Regular time-in-field to ensure drill and blast activities are achieved safely and efficiently.
- Reviewing drilling, blasting and production plans as required.
- Monitoring production activities and undertaking QA/QC checks.
- Undertaking stope reconciliations/abandonments upon completion.
- Managing the iKon III electronic blasting system.
- Monitoring quality data for underground performance.
- Implementing process improvements and best practices.
- Assisting other Mining Engineering functions as required.
- Investigating incidents and implementing actions to improve safety performance.
- Conducting task observations and CCVs as required.
- Hazard identification, rectification and reporting.
