High-Performance Operations Specialist

Prominent Hill is a copper-gold mine, a long-life asset. As a Production Engineer, you will report to the Senior Production Engineer and join our dynamic team focused on safety, production, performance, and business improvement.
You will be a trusted technical advisor for the production team, driving initiatives for operational excellence through problem-solving and data analysis. Regularly engaging with frontline crews and planning, you will determine the practicality of new ideas and support development of plans/schedules.
This role plays a pivotal part in finding sustainable solutions. You can expect to assess equipment capability, create operating standards, procedures, and work instructions.
Key Responsibilities:- Design drilling, blasting, and production plans.
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure drill and blast designs meet site requirements.
- Regular time-in-field (3-4 times a swing) to ensure drill and blast activities are achieved safely and efficiently.
- Review of drilling, blasting, and production plans as required.
- Undertake QA/QC monitoring for production activities.
- Manage stope reconciliations/abandonments upon completion.
- Monitor and maintain quality data for underground performance.
