Senior Nursing Leader

A meaningful leadership position is available for a passionate and engaging nurse leader to serve as a Nurse Unit Manager in the APU2 and Older Persons Units.
This role plays a pivotal part in the operational direction of the ward, supporting the hospital's broader leadership team.

Key Responsibilities- Manage the unit's operations to ensure efficient management
- Foster a culture of excellence in patient and family-centred care
- Provide mentorship and support to your team members
- Effectively manage human, financial, and material resources
- Deliver direct patient care when required
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards
- AHPRA registration is mandatory
- Minimum 5 years' experience in mental health settings is required
- Familiarity with NSQHS/ACHS Standards and HoNOS is essential
- Proven leadership skills in building high-performing teams
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
- Sound understanding of labour management and private health funding models
