We are seeking an experienced and motivated Associate Nurse Unit Manager to lead our Theatre/Perioperative Team in a challenging and rewarding surgical leadership role.
About the Role:
An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled and dedicated nurse to oversee the Rapid Access Hub as part of our team, working closely with the Nurse Unit Manager to deliver high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for mentoring and leading the nursing team, while supporting and achieving specific Key Performance Indicators for the unit.
- Acting as a clinical role model by providing exceptional direct patient care.
- Supervising, directing, and supporting nursing staff in clinical practice.
- Taking on a floor coordination role when required.
- Collaborating with health professionals to achieve activity targets and meet annual goals.
Your Contribution:
As an experienced registered nurse, you will demonstrate your commitment to patient-centered care, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment. You will also possess:
- Current AHPRA Registration.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Comprehensive clinical experience in anaesthetics/PACU.
- Previous management/ANUM experience.
- Experience in leading and managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Postgraduate qualifications or near completion in perioperative nursing.
