About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team in the Northern Territory. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering person-centered services aimed at enhancing participation, independence, and empowering individuals with disabilities to live full, goal-driven lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver contemporary, evidence-based Occupational Therapy services, including assessments, individualized treatment planning, and evaluations, for clients presenting with diverse conditions and syndromes, in a culturally diverse environment.
  • Provide independent, specialist clinical input into treatment planning, development, and service delivery.
  • Collaborate with families and caregivers to assess, plan, implement, and review targeted, meaningful developmental therapy programs.
  • Lead and contribute to the design and implementation of individual and group therapy programs within Carpentaria Therapy Service areas.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration
  • Experience working with individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviors
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Proven experience in implementing evidence-based frameworks and delivering holistic support services
  • An understanding of working within the NDIS framework
