Active Occupational Therapy is a respected practice dedicated to delivering high-quality occupational therapy services to clients with neurological conditions. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Darwin, providing home and community-based rehabilitation and therapy.
Earning Potential
The successful candidate can expect a salary of $48,000 - $60,000 per annum, based on experience, offering a competitive earning potential in the region.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to provide:
- Home and community-based rehabilitation and therapy in ADLS, Upper Limb & Cognition
- Assistive technology assessment and prescription, including wheelchairs
- Home modification assessment & prescription
- Driving assessments and specialist driver training
- Functional Assessments and reports
Working closely with adult clients with a range of neurological conditions and disorders, this role requires a strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A formal qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Holding or eligibility to obtain current registration with the OT Board of Australia
- Rehab experience highly regarded, with demonstrated experience working with adults
- Well-developed time management and organisational skills, independently managing your caseload
