Role DescriptionWe are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Injury Prevention Specialist. In this role, you will work closely with our rehab consulting team to assist injured employees in returning to the workforce.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct worksite, functional, ergonomic, equipment, and home ADL assessments to identify areas for improvement.
- Design, implement, and monitor programs to prevent injuries and promote workplace safety.
- Liaise with clients, medical practitioners, insurers, and employers to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Provide ad hoc support to the rehab consulting team as required.
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy degree.
- AHPRA registration as an OT upon graduation in 2024 or early 2025.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to travel (current vehicle and driver's license essential).
