Occupational Therapist Opportunity in Northern Territory

Carpentaria is a culturally diverse environment that provides a contemporary, evidence-based occupational therapy service. We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to work with our team in delivering holistic supports to people with disabilities living in remote NT communities.
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate will be offered a salary of up to $112,000 per annum, plus relocation assistance, and comprehensive induction program. They will also be entitled to 5 weeks annual leave, flexible work arrangements, and opportunity to develop their skills and career.
Job Description
The Occupational Therapist will work in a dynamic and supportive team, providing assessment, treatment planning and evaluation for clients with complex needs. They will support clients with transition and ongoing treatment planning, and provide clinical input into treatment planning and development.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, registration with AHPRA, and experience working with people with complex needs. They must also possess well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to implement evidence-based frameworks and deliver holistic supports.
Relocation Assistance
Northern Territory PHN may offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification.
