About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced People Advisor to join our team on a large Civil/Rail project based in Melbourne, VIC. As a full-time role, this position offers exciting career opportunities in a people-centric, privately owned tier 1 constructor and an international engineering enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and accurate HR/IR advice and guidance
  • Facilitate performance development, performance management, and disciplinary processes
  • Support the implementation of proactive employee engagement and retention strategies
  • Contribute to the achievement of the people business plan and other initiatives
  • Support all HR activities across the project, including employment lifecycle, resource planning, workforce development, employee development, and engagement
  • Collaborate on initiatives that align with the delivery of the Workforce Development and Industry Participation Strategy and Plan

About You

  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in a generalist Human Resources Advisory role
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence decision-making
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations diplomatically
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or equivalent
  • Experience within the construction industry is advantageous but not essential

Salary Estimate:

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience
