Job Description:\

Welcome Day is a pivotal event that sets the tone for new team members' experience at The Star Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:\
  • \
  • Coordinate Welcome Day induction, including arranging dates, booking rooms, and liaising with department spokespeople.\
  • Serve as the point of contact for Welcome Day enquiries, providing assistance to participants and management.\
  • Ensure the room is set up and packed down efficiently, accommodating attendees and completing administrative tasks within timeframes.\
  • Collate Welcome Day data from the People Information System and provide it to departments as required.\
  • Maintain a financial database of expenditure, providing statistical information to the Group Manager.\
  • Order and maintain an inventory register for Welcome Day costs.\
  • Communicate timely with various departments to ensure a smooth Welcome Day experience.

  • Autonomy and problem-solving: Capacity to work independently and resolve problems effectively.\
