About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team at Home@Scope. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live independently and participate fully in their communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered support to individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence and autonomy.
  • Assist with daily tasks and goals, including personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive support and care.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and Working with Children's Check (Employee)
  • Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Valid Australian Working Rights and an International Police Check if you have lived or worked overseas for more than one (1) year within the last ten years
