AV Systems Specialist

Real Time is expanding its Sydney offices and seeking an experienced AV Systems Specialist to join our team. As an AV Systems Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring seamless audio-visual and IT support for our internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day AV support, ensuring rooms and event spaces are up to global standards and fully operational.
  • Perform weekly preventative maintenance inspections of AV equipment, and assist with troubleshooting and resolving AV-related issues.
  • Work with local and remote teams to ensure any escalated AV or IT issues are resolved efficiently.
  • Assist with setting up on-site and off-site events, performing tasks such as projection screen setup and mic checks.
  • Maintain inventory of AV equipment and assist with commissioning new spaces if required.
  • Offer basic IT support for employees, such as resolving minor tech issues and handling hardware updates (laptops, iPhones, etc.).

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of AV support experience, ideally in a corporate environment.
  • Experience with AV hardware and software, including Crestron control systems, audio DSPs, and Dante/AES microphone systems.
  • Understanding of networking, video transmission, and audio/video signal flow.
  • Familiarity with Google Meet conference room equipment (or similar) and ticketing systems like Jira and Zendesk.
  • A customer-focused mindset, with the ability to work independently and adapt quickly to the fast pace of the entertainment industry.
