Senior Legal Advisor Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Advisor to join our team. This is a newly created leadership role offering opportunities for professional growth and development.

  • This role will provide high-level legal advice, casework, and representation in complex matters.
  • The successful candidate will have experience working with trauma-informed approaches and culturally responsive practices.
  • You will lead a team of lawyers, supervising their work and providing guidance on complex cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expert legal advice and representation in court proceedings.
  2. Supervise and mentor junior lawyers, promoting their professional development.
  3. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Admission as a solicitor in Australia.
  • Minimum 4 years post-admission experience in a relevant practice area.
  • Leadership and mentoring experience within a legal practice.

Benefits:

  • SCHADS Level 7 salary ($120,000 – $130,000).
