Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Worker to join our team. This role involves undertaking scheduled and reactive maintenance, capital projects and ongoing improvements on our roads, footpaths, and drainage network across the city.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing scheduled and reactive maintenance tasks.
  • Undertaking capital projects and ongoing improvements.
  • Operating minor equipment and machinery associated with various works tasks.
  • Providing excellent customer service.
  • Completing various organisational forms.
  • Controlling public at worksites.
  • Managing work orders in SAP via a mobile device (iPad).
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with others in a manner conducive to creating a cooperative team environment.
  • Sound physical health to enable you to satisfactorily perform the physically demanding duties of this position.
  • Effective numeracy and literacy skills commensurate with the requirements of the position.
  • MR drivers' licence.
  • General Construction Induction (white/blue) card.
  • Experience in maintenance and/or construction operations.
