Customer Service Representative Hobart

At Indie Campers, we strive to deliver an exceptional customer experience. As a travel enthusiast with direct customer contact experience in Tourism, Hospitality, Retail or Rent-a-car, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests have a memorable journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage incoming reservations and handle check-ins and check-outs;
  • Clean and prepare our campervans to the highest standards;
  • Maintain our fleet of campervans and monitor maintenance needs;
  • Process payments and manage guest registration;
  • Resolve complaints and troubleshoot issues efficiently.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Providing outstanding customer service to ensure maximum satisfaction with every interaction;
  • Handling phone calls, emails and messages from customers in a prompt and professional manner;
  • Working closely with colleagues to maintain a clean and well-organized depot environment;
  • Assisting with vehicle preparation and conducting pre-rental inspections to prevent damage;
  • Offering suggestions for improvement and contributing to continuous quality enhancement initiatives.

Requirements and qualifications include:

  • Direct customer contact experience in Tourism, Hospitality, Retail or Rent-a-car;
  • Fluency in English (mandatory);
  • Eligibility to work in Australia and possession of a valid driver's license;
  • Availability to work weekends and public holidays;
  • Responsibility and reliability;
  • Well-organised problem-solving skills.
