Our supportive teams include Outpatients, Children's Cancer Centre, Clinical Pharmacy, Clinical trials, Medicines Information, HiTH and Sterile Services, and the Pharmacy Business Unit.Role OverviewWe are seeking multiple permanent full-time rotational pharmacists to join our dynamic pharmacy department. As a rotational pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing clinical pharmacy services to wards at the Royal Children's Hospital, as well as participating in outpatient rotations and sterile production.Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain expertise in specialist paediatrics
  • Participate in projects and audits
  • Training to perform sterile manufacturing
  • Supervise and train pharmacy interns and students
  • Opportunity for Grade 1 pharmacists to transition to Grade 2 through development of a portfolio of practice
Requirements
  • Registered to practice as a pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
  • Internship in Hospital Pharmacy (Grade 1)
  • Experience in Hospital Pharmacy (significant for Grade 2)
  • Active participation with professional bodies (Grade 2)
  • Experience with undertaking audits or developing guidelines (Grade 2)
