About The Role

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families? Join our dynamic Paediatric Allied Health Services team as a Clinical Psychologist or Educational & Developmental Psychologist (Grade 2) and play a key role in delivering high-quality, family-centred care.

The Clinical Psychologist/Educational & Developmental Psychologist (Grade 2) fulfils a diverse role within the Paediatric Allied Health Services. The role operates within a multidisciplinary team, working collaboratively to undertake assessment and to provide coordinated, evidence-based and responsive interventions.

You will engage effectively with families and carers to provide a family-centred service that meets the needs of each child. The role will work collaboratively with other clinicians and personnel in the Paediatric Service to share specialist knowledge and skills and enhance clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Evidence-Based Clinical Services: Provide high-quality, evidence-based psychological assessments and interventions that meet the developmental and emotional needs of children and their families.
  • Collaborate in a Multidisciplinary Team: Work effectively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement coordinated care plans, contributing specialist psychological insights to support holistic outcomes.
  • Maintain Accurate Clinical Documentation: Ensure timely, accurate, and professional documentation in client records and reporting systems, in line with organisational and funding requirements.
  • Engage in Professional Development and Supervision: Actively participate in clinical supervision, performance development, and ongoing professional learning to maintain best practice and support continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate closely with families and carers to provide responsive, family-centred support tailored to each child's unique needs.
  • Share your specialist knowledge and skills with colleagues to enhance clinical outcomes and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
