Seeking Consultant Paediatricians
We are seeking two consultant/specialist paediatricians to join our team in a regional hospital, offering a relaxed coastal lifestyle with welcoming communities and a full range of outdoor activities.
The Role:- Deliver inpatient and outpatient paediatric care, including emergency department and nursery services.
- Provide leadership within a multidisciplinary team.
- Contribute to daily community paediatrics clinics and regional outreach programs.
- Participate in teaching and service development initiatives.
- 520 births annually, along with 400 paediatric admissions and 165 level 2 nursery admissions each year.
- A dedicated level 2 nursery and maternal & child health unit.
- Community paediatrics clinics operating five days a week.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency or eligibility for registration.
- FRACP or equivalent qualification recognized by the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
- International medical graduates must have their qualifications assessed with substantial comparability by RACP.
- Experience and interest in both acute and community paediatrics.
- Strong clinical and leadership skills.
