The Clinical Services Director plays a key role in overseeing the performance, governance, and workforce strategy of Women's and Children's health services in Melbourne.
This position will drive innovation and service excellence at scale, shaping the future of healthcare delivery in Melbourne's west. Reporting to the Deputy Chief Operating Officer and Chief Medical Officer, the Clinical Services Director is accountable for delivering clinical governance, operational, and financial performance across multiple campuses.
- Lead one of Victoria's most dynamic and fast-growing Women's and Children's health services, focusing on clinical excellence, patient-centred care, and service innovation.
- Senior medical leadership opportunity overseeing divisional performance, clinical governance, and workforce strategy across maternity, gynaecology, neonatal, and paediatric services.
- Influence the future of healthcare delivery in Melbourne's west, partnering with a dedicated multidisciplinary team and contributing to the region's major health infrastructure expansion.
- Strategic planning and leadership to drive continuous improvement.
- Clinical governance and oversight of services spanning maternity, gynaecology, neonatal, and paediatric care.
- Multidisciplinary team leadership to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.
- Senior medical specialist (FRACP, FRANZCOG, or equivalent) with demonstrated leadership experience in complex, tertiary-level clinical environments.
- Demonstrated ability to drive service performance, embed clinical improvement initiatives, and lead teams to deliver high-quality care.
- Strong track record of strategic insight, sound financial acumen, and collaborative leadership style.
