Role Overview

This clinical triage specialist is a fixed-term position focused on establishing an efficient paediatric clinical triage process. The role responds to waitlists and meets the needs of families in a community health setting.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess referrals using clinical skills, including face-to-face assessments and group sessions as required.
  • Contribute to implementing and evaluating a 12-month clinical triage initiative to improve waitlist management and family outcomes.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that values kindness and collaboration.
  • Support the development of paediatric triage processes to ensure timely and appropriate care.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology or Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Membership with relevant professional bodies such as Speech Pathology Australia or AHPRA.
  • Demonstrated experience as a paediatric Speech Pathologist or Occupational Therapist providing assessment and intervention.
Requirements
  • National Police Check on commencement and every 3 years; International Police Check if applicable.
  • Valid Working with Children Check.
  • Full driver's license and ability to work across all sites.
