Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Cook/Chef to join our team at Melbourne Airport.

The ideal candidate will have experience in cooking meals/food, setting up workstations, preparing ingredients, and maintaining a sanitized environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook meals/food at the lounge
  • Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
  • Prepare ingredients for use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat, etc.)
  • Cook food using various utensils or grillers
  • Check food while cooking to stir or turn
  • Maintain great presentation by dressing dishes before serving
  • Ensure a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
Essential Criteria:
  • Entry-level with 1+ year experience as a cook/chef
  • Experience in using cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware
  • Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling, etc.)
  • Relevant qualifications/certificates are advantageous
