Agile Delivery Specialist

Job Description:

This role is for an experienced Agile practitioner to support the successful delivery of a transformative program modernizing the Super Guarantee system.

The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) is seeking someone with a strong understanding of Agile frameworks and exceptional facilitation, coaching, and team-building skills.

Facilitating Agile ceremonies, ensuring teams adhere to Agile principles, and acting as a servant leader to Agile teams are key responsibilities.

  • Drive Agile practices in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure efficient and high-quality delivery by fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Shield the team from external interruptions and distractions to maintain focus on sprint goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

This role requires proven experience as a Scrum Master, ideally in large-scale Agile environments or public-sector projects.

A strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and proficiency in Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, TFS, Confluence, Trello)

Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities are also essential.

  • Certification in Agile practices (e.g., Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master, PMI-ACP).
  • Experience in the superannuation or financial services industry.
  • Familiarity with legislative and compliance-driven projects.
