Site Operations Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Site Operations Manager to lead our site teams and subcontractors on urban subdivision projects.

About the Role:
  • Supervise all on-site activities, labour, plant, and subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient project delivery.
  • Maintain accurate daily site records, track progress, and manage site resources effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance, workplace health and safety, and environmental standards.
  • Report to Project Manager and collaborate closely with Engineers and Foremen to drive project success.
  • Foster a positive and productive work culture that promotes team performance and growth.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in supervising urban subdivision projects, be able to read and interpret plans and project schedules, possess strong leadership and communication skills, demonstrate a commitment to safety and quality, and hold a current driver's license and relevant tickets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Delivery: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of urban subdivision projects within budget and timeframe.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate site teams and subcontractors to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks to ensure project success and minimize downtime.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all works are completed to a high standard, meeting or exceeding client expectations.
  • Compliance: Maintain awareness of and comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Education: Relevant qualifications in a field such as construction management, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Proven experience in supervising urban subdivision projects, with a strong track record of delivering results.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Certifications: Current driver's license and relevant tickets, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
