A Compliance Specialist Role for a High-Performing Team

About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Performance and Compliance Coordinator to join our team at the Marngoneet Correctional Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring adherence to OH&S legislation and regulatory requirements, leading project work, and collaborating with internal staff and external stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities
  • Compliance Program Management: Develop and maintain an effective compliance program to ensure operational efficiency and minimize risks.
  • Project Leadership: Lead project work, undertake reviews, and provide guidance on procedural compliance and OH&S requirements.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with internal staff and external stakeholders to identify operational and service delivery deficiencies, and develop strategic solutions.
  • Auditing and Compliance: Oversee auditing and ensure compliance with OH&S legislation, monitoring and providing strategies for OH&S risk, themes, and investigations.
Your Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in Departmental software, including PIMS, JIMS, and EJustice.
  • Excellent Communication: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with leadership, maturity, and sound judgement.
  • Analytical Mind: A strong analytical mind, with the ability to prepare informed contributions and recommendations.
