About the Role

The role involves leading the curriculum focus and school department in developing and committing to a shared vision focused on quality learning outcomes for all students.

Key responsibilities include embedding socially just practices in daily school life, setting high standards for student and staff performance, engaging in lifelong learning and professional development, building partnerships with students, parents, agencies, and community groups, being future-oriented and strategic, and understanding legislation and policies impacting on the school department, students, and staff.

Staff are supported through a comprehensive approach to collegial engagement with school leaders engaging in daily Learning Walks and Talks and fortnightly Collaborative Inquiry Cycles. The college has a Positive Behaviour framework with a focus on high expectations supported through clear and consistent learning routines.

As a pioneer in Entrepreneurial Education and Technologies and STEM, the school fosters diverse learning opportunities in a positive and inclusive community of learners that allow our students to thrive.

The school prides itself on its strong Sports Development Program with specialisation in Netball, Basketball, Rugby League, and Oztag, complemented by a thriving Creative Arts program.
