Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Civil Senior Project Engineer to join our Rail Operations hub based in Seven Hills, NSW.

Rail Operations is an internal Business Unit within Laing O'Rourke, specialising in the self-delivery of all aspects of rail construction (Track, OHW, Civil & CSR), working with a highly experienced team of technical experts to deliver a high portfolio of work across New South Wales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage costs and supervise subcontractors.
  • Develop excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Deliver expertise in pre-delivery and delivery of major infrastructure projects.
  • Provide leadership and direction to direct reports, as well as interfacing with design management and construction delivery teams.
  • Maintain and promote the highest Health and Safety standards.
Requirements
  • You will have experience delivering large scale infrastructure projects in rail & associated infrastructure, ideally having worked in a tier 1 setting. Leadership skills are essential for the role.
  • A degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Civil) or construction management with experience working on the delivery of major infrastructure projects, utility relocations and stakeholder management.
Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
