HSE Lead Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled HSE professional to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic direction, ensuring rigorous operational discipline, and promoting a high-performance culture.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the HUB HSE Manager to drive HSE legal compliance and control conformity.
  • Provide strong leadership to promote a high-performance culture, role model, and reinforce behaviors that underpin business growth.
  • Contribute to effective risk management of HSE related issues by providing specialist knowledge and ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Ensure timely notification of HSE incidents, investigations, preventive and corrective actions, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Foster a proactive and positive culture of continuous improvement in HSE performance by implementing best practices and innovative solutions.

Requirements:

  • Hold an engineering degree or a bachelor's degree in HSE required. An engineering degree can be in any discipline if supported by proven HSE experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of strong HSE experience, preferably in high-risk industries such as Oil & Gas, Power, or related fields.
  • Proven expertise in risk assessment, mitigation planning, and high-risk activities management.
  • Experience in leading HSE projects, fostering a safety culture, and implementing innovative solutions and best practices.
