We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Director to join our team in Melbourne.

This role is a key opportunity to lead commercial activities across a portfolio of significant contracts and projects with a major client within the oil and gas sector in Asia-Pacific.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering commercial excellence, driving business growth and strategy, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maximising commercial performance while managing business/project risk (pre and post-contract)
  • Developing teams with in-depth commercial and cross-functional expertise to support the assigned business
  • Ensuring that all rates and prices for services are prepared, analysed and reviewed to a high standard

Applicants must have a degree in business administration, commerce or similar discipline, and extensive experience in contract administration, change management, pricing, and negotiations.

Awareness of corporate and project procedures is also essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial governance and assurance principles.
