Cargo Team Member

We are seeking a Cargo Team Member to join our team at the Sydney T1 Cargo warehouse. The successful candidate will be required to work shift work including early starts, late finishes, nights, weekends and public holidays.

The primary purpose of this role is to perform airfreight and associated clerical duties in a safe, efficient and productive manner, in accordance with dnata Airport Services policies and procedures and within the regulations as set out by statutory bodies.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Import related functions - Processing of customer collections, ULD documentation processing, completion of UCR, security compliance, ability to learn and use Hermes system.
  • Export related functions - Ability to learn and understand security compliance - EACE, processing of export cargo deliveries, compliance to Airline requirements & documentation, ULD documentation processing, acceptance of dangerous goods.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current NSW Driver's License;
  • Previous experience in an Operational environment where SOP's were in place;
  • Intermediate computer skills;
  • Excellent communication skills - Verbal and Written;
  • High level of customer service skills;
  • Understands the importance of meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA's);
  • Excellent team player with a positive/can-do attitude;
  • Reliable, trustworthy and has the ability to work independently;
