Cargo Coordinator

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Cargo Coordinator to manage the movement of goods across our operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring seamless logistics and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with drivers to ensure all deliveries are made within designated timeframes.
  • Plan and book slots for import collections, guaranteeing efficient drop-offs at designated parks.
  • Arrange empty slots for trucks collecting and dropping MTs, optimizing fleet utilization.
  • Maintain open communication with drivers and yard supervisors to address any operational issues.
  • Liaise with clients to provide updates on plans and schedules.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a transport-related role.
  • Familiarity with Chain of Responsibility principles.
  • Proficiency in operating systems like 1-Stop and Wave.
  • Knowledge of import and export requirements at ports.
  • A deep understanding of port layouts and empty parking facilities within Port Botany.
  • Previous experience with data entry and administration tasks using EXCEL.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
