Lead Industrial Relations Specialist

The Lead Industrial Relations Specialist is responsible for overseeing all Industrial and Employee Relations matters across Australia & New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acting as the key Industrial Relations lead, the position holder will be primarily responsible for managing a diverse range of cases and key IR/ER activities while supporting business stakeholders in case management.
- Additionally, the position holder will provide advice on people matters, support workplace investigations, and contribute to the performance of the HR function through effective case management.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Review and maintain the AAP IR Framework in collaboration with HR leadership.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations through regular monitoring of changes in labour laws, regulations, and related legislation.
- Provide timely professional advice on industrial and other relevant legislation frameworks to business leaders and HR teams.
- Engage in disciplinary committee matters as required.
Additional responsibilities of the Lead IR Specialist include:
- Regularly reviewing and updating organisational policies and procedures to ensure consistent application.
- Supporting key people projects and contributing to the HR function's performance through proactive understanding of organisational needs.
Benefits:
$160,000 - $175,000 + super
