Lead Employee and Industrial Relations Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled professional to lead Employee and Industrial Relations initiatives across a geographically dispersed workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement ER strategies to enhance workplace culture and productivity
  • Provide expert guidance on employment legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements
  • Coach and support leaders to foster high-performing teams and address conflicts
  • Detect and mitigate risks related to employment laws and regulations
  • Foster inclusive and diverse work environments through targeted programs and initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workforce planning and resource allocation

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience in HR, ER, or a related field with expertise in multi-site environments
  • Proven track record of managing complex ER cases, investigations, and dispute resolution processes
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment legislation, modern awards, and enterprise agreements
  • Experience working in industries with geographically dispersed workforces (e.g., retail, hospitality, or health)
  • Strong coaching and influencing skills to drive accountability and performance
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR, IR, Law, or a related field (desirable)
