Graduate Restructuring and Recovery Professional

About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated Graduate to join our growing Restructuring and Insolvency division at William Buck NSW.
This role offers the chance to work closely with senior team members, while gaining hands-on experience and learning from our Partners.
As a Graduate in our team, you'll enjoy exposure to a diverse range of clients and industries, within a collaborative and supportive environment.
We are looking for recent or soon-to-be Graduates with a genuine interest in Restructuring and Insolvency to join our team.
In this role, you will:
- Prepare reports for creditors and stakeholders.
- Manage trade-on transactions, including the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Investigate, analyse, and report on corporate and personal financial affairs.
- Conduct sales of property, plant, and equipment.
- Draft advice to lawyers and assist with legal proceedings.
- Prepare insolvent trading and voidable transaction recovery actions.
- Engage with creditors, employees, business owners, agents, lawyers, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and ethical guidelines.
- Manage internal cash flow and record-keeping.
- Gain exposure to various industries and diverse groups of people.
The right candidate will have:
- A genuine interest in a career in restructuring, insolvency, or turnaround.
- A desire to further their education by pursuing CA and ARITA qualifications – we'll provide financial assistance and mentoring opportunities.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
