About Our Client


EDT Global Pty Ltd. is a leading business advisory and restructuring firm that specializes in supporting businesses through financial distress. We are currently seeking an experienced Restructuring & Insolvency Manager / Senior Manager to join our dynamic team.



Key Responsibilities


  • Manage a large portfolio of clients across various industries and provide expert advice on restructuring and insolvency matters.
  • Lead complex insolvency proceedings, including liquidations, receiverships, and voluntary administrations.
  • Support and guide junior staff in their professional development and provide training and mentorship.
  • Develop and implement strategic restructuring plans to help businesses recover from financial distress.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including legal professionals and creditors, to ensure compliance with Australian insolvency laws.
  • Prepare and deliver major reports, including cash flow forecasts and independent business reviews.
  • Identify and capitalize on asset sales opportunities to maximize recoveries.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Australian insolvency legislation and regulations.


Requirements


  • Prior experience in insolvency and restructuring is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian insolvency legislation and regulations is required.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills are necessary to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to develop creative solutions is essential for success in this role.
