About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Restructuring and Insolvency division as an intern. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with senior members of the team and learn from working directly with the Partners.

We are looking for university students studying Accounting, Business, or Commerce with an interest in Restructuring and Insolvency to join our team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Assist in preparing reports for creditors.
  • Learn about trade-on management, including preparing of budgets and forecasts.
  • Investigate, analyse and report on corporate and personal financial affairs.
  • Assist with the sale of property, plant and equipment.
  • Drafting advice to lawyers and assisting with legal proceedings.
  • Support the preparation of insolvent trading and voidable transaction recovery actions.
  • Liaise with creditors, employees, business owners, agents, lawyers etc.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and ethical guidelines.
  • Be responsible for internal cash management and record keeping.
  • Be exposed to many different industries and diverse groups of people.
