Project Governance and Controls Manager

There is a unique opportunity to join a reputable organization as a Project Governance and Controls Manager. This role will provide project management support to a portfolio of projects from development through construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage planning, implementation, tracking, and analysis of project(s) and portfolio from the development gate through to start of construction.
  • Ensure appropriate project governance processes are embedded within each project.
  • Establish, monitor, and coordinate project reporting timelines, structures, and platforms.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams in an environment that engenders high levels of motivation and performance.
  • Monitor and identify unresolved or critical issues and propose corrective actions.
  • Communicate with stakeholders regularly to keep them informed about project progress, milestones, and any issues.
  • Provide regular project and portfolio reporting to management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven project/portfolio experience of at least 3 years in a Project Controls or PMO role.
  • Excellent communications skills: written and oral.
  • Outstanding team management capabilities across functions and levels of seniority.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability in a capital project environment.
  • Tertiary qualifications with Project Management qualification desirable.
